It's a hard life in a Zambian hospital* *(do NOT read if easily upset)

This is not so much a blog entry but a quote of a statement made by one of the surgeons when I recounted what I had just seen at the foot of the stairwell….

“It’s a hard life in Zambia. Even when you are dead it’s a hard life.” "There is no respect, even when you are dead". “You have to lie on a hard floor and wait until somebody notices you.” It’s a hard life in Zamia”.
